INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

At A&F Engineering Co., LLC, we recognize that it is vital for civil engineering students and new graduates to gain real-world, hands-on experience in their chosen field through opportunities such as internships to prepare for future careers.  Opportunities such as our program are meant to help develop transferable skills, put theoretical knowledge into practice, build connections within the civil engineering industry, and receive guidance from seasoned professionals.

We have three divisions focused on different areas within the civil engineering field:  Transportation Engineering, Traffic Engineering, and Site Development Engineering.  Our program is designed to help new engineers better determine what area of civil engineering interests them most by offering the opportunity to spend three to four weeks in each division.  However, as a smaller civil engineering firm, we pride ourselves on our flexibility and ability to offer custom-tailored internship opportunities if an intern already has a defined area of interest.

At A&F, we believe strongly in creating a flexible, family-friendly culture where our employees have opportunities to grow and build professional connections.  We host monthly employee appreciation luncheons, birthday breakfasts, and other fun events each month, as well as provide professional development opportunities.  As an intern at A&F Engineering, you will have the opportunity to participate in these types of activities.  Please see qualifications and additional position details below.
