ASSISTANT DATA COLLECTION SPECIALIST

A&F Engineering has an immediate job opportunity for a Traffic Counter/Assistant Data Collection Specialist. The candidate will be responsible for setting equipment outside to collect data such as traffic volumes, vehicular speed, and other factors relating to traffic operations. This position is in an outdoor environment over 90% of the time in all weather conditions.

  • Collect traffic data using various equipment installed by the collection specialist

TRAFFIC ENGINEER

A&F Engineering has an immediate opening for a full-time Traffic Engineer.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.  Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Technical analysis using Synchro/SimTraffic software, Highway Capacity Software, Sidra, VISSIM, VISUM, and other traffic engineering analysis software.
  • Perform traffic impact studies, capacity analysis, traffic modeling, traffic forecasting, signal timing and warrant analyses, corridor analysis, and crash analyses.
  • Perform traffic engineering field work such as investigations and inspections of existing site conditions, roadways, intersections, signage, signals, etc. to be used in traffic analysis.
  • Prepare reports detailing data, analyses, conclusions, and recommendations using visualizations such as tables, charts, and figures for clients.
